We understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or obligations for work or family. However, when you do not call to cancel an appointment, you may be preventing another patient from getting much-needed treatment.
Conversely, the situation may arise where another patient fails to cancel, and we are unable to schedule you for a visit, due to a seemingly “full” appointment book.
If an appointment is not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance you will be charged the full price for the appointment; this may not be covered by your insurance company.
Gift vouchers will remain valid if the appointment is cancelled more than 24 hours in advance, otherwise it will be considered used.
We understand that delays can happen however we must try to keep the other patients’ appointments on time. Arriving too late for an appointment will not allow enough time for your appointment.
If a patient is 15 minutes past their scheduled time we will have to reschedule the appointment and you will be charged the full price of the appointment.
Please also note, if you turn up for an appointment under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, the practitioner reserves the right to refuse treatment without a refund. Even if the appointment is to address addiction, we ask all patients to arrive sober.
When cancelling an appointment more than 24 hours before your paid appointment, you will be refunded the full amount of the appointment.
As indicated above, if you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before the appointment, show up late or do not show up to your appointment, you will not be eligible for a refund.
If you have pre-booked a series of appointments, when cancelling, you will be refunded for the unused appointments, assuming the appointments were cancelled more than 24 hours in advanced.
If a discount was applied, for example, when ordering 6 or 12 appointments, the discount will be invalid, and the price of the used appointments will be calculated based on the regular full price and you will be refunded the difference.
